Purpose:
The candidate will be responsible for firmware development of newly developed medical devices and will work in (a) cross-functional team(s) with program managers, system architecture, product design and manufacturing operations in an international environment.
Principle Accountabilities/Duties
Participates in design & development of new software products in compliance with defined processes and industry standards.
Develop OO based designs including use of design patterns.
Perform user interface software development in C/C++/Java on embedded platform (e.g. Qt, Android).
Perform development of platform, services & application (BL) software including communication, data storage & retrieval, state machine, algorithms (including control systems) running on a real-time OS.
Develop functional & user interface specifications for software subsystem.
Develop software design from requirements specifications.
Collaborates with Software Engineering team during integration phase.
Collaborates with Systems / Hardware Engineering team during development to develop cross-functional solutions.
Interface with suppliers and internal engineering groups.
Provide expertise in and resolving engineering design and test problems for software function.
